Butterscotch and Snow

Hellew!!

I went out a couple of weeks ago to look for a gift for my cousin and I found a book on whoopie pies! This was one of the things in the book, it's called "Butterscotch Blondies". I've never made blondies before but I LOVE eating them. This is my first attempt to this and there are some changes I'd like to do before I start selling them off. ;) It's really sweet and moist but some have my friends like the sweetness maybe this just isn't suitable for old people. I joke.

I will be back in Brunei really soon and I am thinking of having a bake sale. The date is still not fixed but I will post up when I'll be having it very soon. You will be hearing from me by next week. ;) Hope to see you then.

This may be the last cupcake batch that I make before I leave. Birds Nest. Yummay. These are fun to make when it's not the mini's. hehe.. Easier to chocolate coat them. I've decided to take many pictures because I haven't really taken many pictures of Birds Nest. It's like a little step by step on how I made Birds Nest.

This is the first time I've made Birds Nest in mini's which I served at my open house. :) It was difficult to coat with chocolate! Very time consuming. I really thought it would be easier but I've proved myself wrong! Hahaha.. :p It was fun though. I had help from my mum!

Hello All,

It's been another busy week. Open houses to visit and cupcakes to bake. This cupcake was made before hari raya. I think I made it on the day of liat bulan, I don't remember anymore. Hehe... Anyhoo these are mini red velvets with football cake toppers. He wanted cars on them but I ran out. Sorry. :) I hope he enjoyed them.

Baby Eshah's Mandi Belawat

Good Monday All!

So this weekend was Eshah's mandi belawat and my mum said that it would be a good idea to have individual cupcakes as the gifts in the campur. So all week I've been looking for the box for the cupcakes, cupcake cases, ribbons, stickers, ingredients etc. The function was on sunday night so I decided to start baking on saturday afternoon so that the cupcakes would be fresh. As I went to heat the oven and start making my batter the oven started acting weird, when I put the first batch of cupcake in halfway through baking the oven turned off!!! It also made a weird sound so I switched the oven off completely thinking that if I left it it would explode or something. :s After this happen, I decided no cupcakes for the function. Later that night, my aunt and cousins came and said that I could use their oven to bake the cupcakes. It was too late to bake that night so I went to sleep on it. The next day, I decided YES I WILL BAKE. Haha... So I called up mumum and she motivated me to bake the cakes. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't even try. :) I called up my cousins Nurus, Ka Neer, Di, Fendi, Uda and Awang. Thanks for helping me pack and bake the cupcakes. Here are some pictures. Enjoy...

Selamat Pengantin Baru!

Hello All,

After the mini bake sale, I had a short rest from making cupcakes. But I had a cupcakes order for a good friend of mine for her hantaran. This was the first time I've done this and I thought that making flowers would be a good idea because they're cute. I didn't want to use fondant because I've been using a lot of fondant in the past. :) I also want to apologize for not replying e-mail's to those who ordered cupcakes/ cake. My Mini Bake Sale!

As you all know I had a mini bake sale this weekend and it was a success!! Yeayyy!! But due to the heavy rain some people couldn't come. :( Boo hooo.
