A spongebob cake! haha.. This is a cake requested by my cousin. I have to give credit to my cousin Mumum and a bit to Ka Muizzah. I was really tired because I just came back from Singapore so I had help from them. It was a really fun to make. This cake took me about 8 hours to make. I think it's really cuteeeee. Anyway, I have another cake to make now. Tata~ oh and Happy New Year!! :)

These are some new cupcakes that I've just tried baking. I've just recently tried adding fruits!! :) I had a small dinner at my house and I've decided to test them that night. The most popular one that night was the strawberry and cream cupcakes!! The mint cupcakes were less popular because it depends whether you like mint with chocolate. Chocolate chili cupcakes was also a hit because of the dark chocolate icing on top. Cherry cupcakes was one of my favorite though because of the sweetness of the cherry (thanks to my auntie who brought it from Singapore) best cherry ever! :p All these cupcakes were fun to bake!! Anyway I need to rest now I've got to go to bed now. Good night!

My cousin Muneerah has just graduated from RMIT, Australia. She had a doa selamat/ BBQ. Yumm... BBQ! :) As a gift, I decided to bake her cupcakes in 3 different flavors oreo with buttercream, chocolate and nutella and red velvet. Mumum made those cute butterfly. This took me about 5 hours to make altogether. Picking the flavor that I want to bake was all last minute!! The night before I had picked out the cupcake I wanted to bake in my head but then when I came into the kitchen this morning I started browsing at different recipes and thank god I had enough ingredients to make it all! Hehe... Anyhoo I need a shower now. Good night Brunei!


Tip of the day: Always buy extra ingredients!! :)

Guess who came over!

Guess who came over and "ordered" 36 mini cupcakes and ate them at my house. She was also modelling my cupcakes for me. Saweeeet. :p Hehe.. I shall call her the convict of my cupcakes just because she looks like one above! Haha.. If any of you guesses correctly who this convict is will get a PRIZEEEE!!! :D Stay tune to find out the prize.


She ate this much while sitting next to me "watching" a movie. :p

A friend of mine asked me to make a cake for his brothers birthday. He said that his brother likes to play games! So this is what I came up with. I think it looks really cute! I don't really play games so I borrowed my brothers controller. :) This is the first cake that I've made little models of stuff on it. It was difficult but fun! This cake took me about 5 hours to make. Not too long. I watched Desperate Housewives in between the baking and the cooling so it didn't feel too long. Hehe.. Anyway, I need to rest my eyes for a bit. Taaa~

This is a white chocolate cake that I made. Yumm... I ate the icing and I loved it! It's my friends mum's birthday and he asked me to make the cake. He said that he wanted a silver and white theme but I added the little pink flowers to make it look more interesting! :) These little flowers remind me of cherry blossoms so I started to stick them all over the cake!! Hehe.. No ribbons this time and I quiet like this flower idea. I had a little problem with this cake because the fondant that I usually use wasn't available so I used another brand and it was difficult! It cracked in many places but I managed to hide or fix most of it! *phew* I am quiet pleased with this cake and I hope my friends mum is too. Hehe.. :) The flowers were fun to make. This cake only took me about 6 hours altogether. I had my mum's help on this because Mumum's in Singapore. Anyway, I need to have lunch now. Enjoy your day!

My cousin ordered a "Cupcake cake"!! This is the first time I've made a cupcake cake. It was a challenge for me and this was the best that I could do. I thought I did pretty good. Hehe... :p I enjoyed making, it was a bit stressful but in the end it was all worth it! :) I didn't have the cupcake baking tray and so I made this cake shaped from scratch. I was gonna put a cherry on top but instead I put a ribbon. I am addicted to making ribbons and I think for my next project I will not put any ribbons on top. Well at least I'll try not to... :p I love the colors of the cake because it looks so sweet. This cake took me about 6 hours to make. yeay! Anyway, It's been a long day and I need to rest now. Good night!

Sand and golf balls

So today is my dad's birthday and I wanted to bake him a cake and it's his 55th!!! :) He LOVES to play golf so I decided to design a cake like the golf course with the golf balls and the sand and the hole. It was fun to make. It didn't take me a long time to decorate just a couple of hours. The cake is a vanilla sponge cake with chocolate frosting. Yumm... I love chocolate frosting! Mumum and awang (ish) helped me to make this cake. Anyway, need to get ready for dinner. Ta ta ~
