"Selamat Hari Jadi!"
This three layer chocolate cake was especially made for my grandfather. He just turned 88! :) We decided to celebrate his birthday and I've volunteered to make the cake and cupcakes to be decorated on the side. I only have pics of what they look like in my kitchen but I'll show you the whole picture soon when I get hold of them from my cousin. The color theme for tonight was royal blue (because it's his favorite colour) and brown (just because). Hehe.. This was the best that I could come up with in 4 days of notice. :) I've never made a three layer cake so this is the first. It took me about 12 hours to make and decorate the cake itself and about 4 hours extra to make the cupcakes. :) I had mumum and hanisah to help me with decorating the cake but all in all it was fun!
88 cupcakes to represent his 88th birthday as requested by my cousins. The flavors that I made are peanut butter and nutella, vanilla buttercream and chocolate on chocolate. These are large cupcakes!! Anyway, my back hurts from all the baking and decorating. Good night. :)
