Present!!

Front view.

The red ribbon is my favorite ribbon. Cute.

Le top.

"Happy Birthday Babu!" My friend asked me to make him a "present" birthday cake, he wanted the colors to be red, white and pink and this is what I came up with. I hope your mother likes it. Hehe.. This is a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. Yummmayyy. This is the first time I've made a square cake and it wasn't tooo bad. Making the ribbons was fun. This took me about 8 hours to make. I may have over dusted the ribbons with edible glitter but it looks pretty! :D

Banana Muffin!!

Mash the Banana

Buttermilk

Brown Sugar

My dad isn't a huge fan of sweet cupcakes and he like to eat fruits. He said to me "Illah, why don't you make banana muffins?". This was about 3 weeks ago and today I just decided to make it. I've never tried to put fruits in my baking and this is my first and it won't be my last. Hehe.. :) Above are images of banana muffins that I've made and they tasted yuuuuummayy. Best eaten when slightly heated. My dad doesn't like icing and I have to say that it does taste better on it's own rather than something sweet on top. If you do want icing on top, I would suggest caramel icing. :) Yummm..

"It's A Wrap!"

Fondant.

Guess who these cupcakes are for? I went to an amazing concert last weekend. It was a Hip Hop concert and to be honest I don't know how to make the cupcakes look Hip Hop like. Hehe.. So I decided just do it my way. :p I think they look pretty cute though. What do you think?

What happen to my oven?

Peanut Butter base

This morning, I decided to bake cupcakes for fun. The last batch that I made turned out like this (above) and I was pretty unhappy about it. I thought it was my butter but nope. Then I changed the temp but it wasn't. I did many many different things until I looked at the oven really carefully and I saw the setting for my oven was changed. :) boy was I happy when I found that out. Then I baked some more cupcakes and they turned out just right (below).

Red Velvet base

Chocolate base

If you haven't noticed, I like to bake my cupcakes up to the very top of the casing because I think it looks really cute and fluffy. :) What say you?

Small Cake, Big Cake. It's all just cake.

My not so new cupcake case that I rarely use. It kinda reminds me of Christmas because of the color... Cute or not?

Red Velvet, Vanilla Buttercream and Chocolate on Chocolate. Yummm..

My first "Happy Birthday" fondant thingy...

Don't you just think that the apple and flowers are cute? *.*

I made cupcakes for Mumum on her birthday. She said that she wants to make her own cake so I said I'll make her some cupcakes to go with them. Believe it or not, we didn't make it in the same room. This was all unplanned. When we came together with our cakes ready, it just matched. Yeayyy! This is actually my first fondant cupcake thingy and I enjoyed making it very much. It was fun. :) I still need to practice with the fondant. *pat on the back* All in all the cupcake was pretty good... Again I am sleepy. Good Night! -.-

Happy Birthday Mumum!

After 12 hours of working in the kitchen this is what I came out with. Mumum decided to have a last minute birthday dinner and she requested for me to make her cake and this is the first birthday cake that I have made in my entire life (that was going to be served to people I don't know) and it's also my first time using fondant (on a cake)! :s I've also never made a 2-tier cake! It was a challenge but eventually I got the hang of it. *phew* Mumum loved the look of her cake. Yeay!

Fresh red roses on the top of the cake to decorate it and also some small daisies on the sides. :)

Happy Birthday Mumum! I heart you long time... :)

Thumbs up from her! Yeay!
*high five*

It is a four layer moist chocolate cake that has chocolate frosting in between the layers. In the end, all her friends enjoyed the cake. Yummm... *yawn* Anyway, I need to sleep now. I've been awake for a while now. Good night.

9 layer Chocolate Cream Cheese Cake!

Want to know what I fed Ryan to make him lick his fingers like this? Carry on reading to find out. Hehe.. He wiped off all of the icing!!!

Dark chocolate to fill between the layers.

Drip... Drip... Drip...

More icing!!

Finally it is done! After 3 hours of baking. This is a recipe I found online and I always wanted to try it for months now and now I have. It tastes like pancakes with chocolate. Yumm... It was a bit difficult to cut though. The Icing is the bomb! It was cream cheese with chocolate. :) If you guys need the recipe, just e-mail me and I shall e-mail it to you...
