Handbag and Cherry Blossoms.

A small pink handbag made by Mumum

Today is my aunt's birthday and my mum and my aunt decided to get her a cake made by me. :) The reason why there is a handbag on the cake is because she has a lot of handbags. I think it's a really sweet colored cake. I didn't have time to take pictures of the cake at home because it was a really hectic day for me. This cake is a small cake and it was a quick cake to make which took me about 2-3 hours to decorate and shape.. Mumum made the small handbag because she's the best at making little things and I had 2 cake orders for the same day. The cupcakes around the cake was requested by my auntie who really like eating the cupcakes with coffee. She says that it taste much much nicer when eaten with coffee.. :) Anyway, I need to take a shower now. I'll update another cake later! :) Taaa~

Flour? or flower?

Helloo everybody!!! I haven't baked a cake in the a week I've been busy helping my mum. Cupcakes, yes but not a cake. Huhu... It's okay, I've got a couple of orders in the weekend. :) Gonna be busy then. Anyhoo, above is a picture of the self raising flour that I use and they've changed the design of the paper bag and it's really cute! I don't know why but I tend to buy things depending on the packaging. Ughh... It's a bad thing. Believe me. Huhu.. Anyway, Good Night everyboday!! :)

Voila!

Good Morning all!! Chinese new Year and Valentines day is on the same day this year! What a coincidence. It is just around the corner. :) So I bought RED cupcake cases just for this occasion. I think these cases will go well with the theme of the day... If anyone is interested in getting cupcakes for their loved ones or for Chinese New Year do let me know in advance. :) You can have these cupcakes personalized to have messages on them or design i.e. hearts, xoxo, Chinese new year etc... Do let me know... :) Have a good day!

To sprinkle or not to sprinkle THAT is the question...

Peanut Butter and Nutella without the Sprinkles...

and this is it with sprinkles...

The topic today is whether the cupcakes look better with or without sprinkles... I personally think everything with color looks nice.. What do you guys think?? :) I'm afraid that some people might think that cupcakes look better without the sprinkles.

THE WINNER IS..... RUBANNA!!!

Your probably wondering "How did she win?" Well, She guessed the person who came to my house in my previous post and got it right. What did she win? She won a FREE box of cupcakes. Yeay!! Any flavor! Anytime! I'll give it to her when she comes back!!! Miss you Dots. :p

Jazzzzyyy..

"Happy Birthday PSD"

and on the side it says "From Dinah &Family".

I had an order for a Saxophone cake from my cousin and it took me all night to make this. Let me tell you why. First of all, I started making the cake quite late because I thought I could finish it in only 5 hours. It was 3am and I was done baking and icing the cake. It was ready for the fondant until it FELL!!! Yup that's right. It fell!!! and it broke into a gazillion piecessssss. *sigh* I could only save one part of the cake! and I had to bake another layer! I had to put it in the oven and wait for it to cool. aaaahhhh... This was the hardest cake to make because I didn't get the fondant that I'm use to using because it was out of stock! *sigh* The fondant was hard to work with! It's ok. I did the best I could do at this time and I hope that the Birthday Man liked it! *fingers cross* Huhu... I quite like it because it looks cute! Hehe.. Anyway, I need to rest now getting really sleepy! Good Night all! :)

The next Beethoven :p

My First Big Order!

11 boxes

Hearts

Sprinkles

Dots

It was my aunties mandi belawat yesterday and she ordered 400 mini cupcakes. Her favorite cupcake is the vanilla base with the nutella icing and she wanted all 400 to be that flavor. This seem to be a popular icing this week. I have used up a whole tub of nutella and it wasn't the small one. :p Hehe... It took me a whole night to bake these cupcakes because I had no other time. After not sleeping for a day, it felt good to have a quality good night sleep last night. Hehe.. :) Anyway, I need a shower now I just finished baking another batch. :) will update with more pictures later. Tata~

Wing wang turns 17.

Le present

My dad helping me out.

and this is what he did..
" Happy Birthday Awang"

Vanilla Buttercream cupcakes and Nutella Icing. Yumm..

Flavor of the cake is chocolate sponge cake with a dark chocolate icing

It was my cousins birthday and he just turned 17! woooo.... He really likes shoes so I tried to make the Nike Air Yeezy shoe. Mumum helped with this but then the fondant that I usually use wasn't available so I had a replacement. It wasn't the best fondant to use. So when we made the shoe it didn't hold so I made the shoe smaller and this is how it turned out to be. Cute little shoes. eh? This was a tough thing to make and very challenging for me. :( But I am quiet happy with the end results and so was the birthday boy! That's all that matters! :) Yipee...

The cake and the cupcakes together!

Thumbs up from the birthday boy! *high five*

The end.

The little man discovers colored chocolate rice!

Ryan came over and ate ice cream. Then he lied down on the floor!! Look at that face!

The mixed box of cupcake. Vanilla, Peanut Butter, Red Velvet and Dark Chocolate.

Red Velvet base...

... with cream cheese icing. Yumm..

Sprinkles...

after sprinkling the cupcakes Ryan came to me looking like this...

and he wanted some... "Minta"

Then he wouldn't stop running around the kitchen (I'm guessing it's from all the sugar he's taken) so I got a small plastic container cover and put the colored sprinkles in it and put on cartoon! So he just sat there for a couple of minutes and got back to walking around and touching everything!

Dark Chocolate Base...

...with Chocolate Icing

Until he found this step ladder which he turned into a seat and a table on his own! Cute eh?

Then he started eating his colored chocolate rice on it...

Vanilla Buttercream

So I baked mini cupcakes yesterday with Ryan (and mumum) and he was so adorable because he would eat the icing on the cupcakes and the chocolate rice and ice cream! I think he likes anything with sugar! Haha...What I wanted to show you all is the 2 boxes of mixed cupcakes with a dozen of each flavor in them for $24. You can pick any 4 flavours with any 4 Icing on them all for $24!! :) Do you not think that it's a good bargain? What say you? Oh and you can also buy get them in 2 flavours in one box for $12!! Anyway, I need to got to bed now. It's getting late. Good Night! :)
